Students

We identified a random sample of students from the cohort, ensuring they were from our target group - those who entered secondary school at or below a low level 4 - and in proportion to the total cohort. These students were interviewed three times during the study to learn more about their perceptions of mathematics lessons. We also used their test scores to get a sense of progress (click for details of the student questionnaires, 2005, 2006, 2007)
