CMTP video clips
Introduction
These video clips illustrate key features of teaching by the end of the project. In these video clips we concentrate mainly on whole class episodes. They give information about the context within which previously-low-attaining students are being taught mathematics. The classes vary in makeup. Groups might be all-attainment; below average prior attainment; or spanning average attainment. All classes in these clips contain students who had low attainment on entering secondary school.
You will see no incidents of poor behaviour. This is not merely due to editing. All these teachers have had to work very hard to establish the levels of participation and engagement which you will see in the clips. The clips in this section show some of the ingredients of their success
