Standard confusions

See A; S1; N2

Rather than see typical 'errors' as the students' fault, or as misconceptions, in some of these clips we see these dealt with as if they are typical and understandable confusions. This is especially strong in A, in which the confusion between time and the decimal system is examined using a range of appropriate examples which focus on 'half of...'. In S1, the teacher works explicitly on the usual problems with axes, relating these to the number system and continuity, negativity, and scaling. In N2 we see the teacher dealing with ambiguity by asking students the effects of different statements.
